3 years in the writing, constant touring, performing, chasing the creative drive to the edge, falling off and getting back on again; the new album from Stretch is the story of these times we live in, ready to be made. 

Together with a cast of incredible local musicians, sound crew and supporters, we’re going to record in a little chapel on the hill in Napier / Hawke’s Bay. From here to there, it’s going to be a product of community. And while we might be physically apart, this is something that we can do together, from wherever you are.  

The journey of creating this music has been full of ups and downs, with the songs reflecting the full range of someone who is ready to open their soul and show how it is to be in this world. It’s a full-scale project, but Stretch has put in the years of commitment and sacrifice it takes to get to this stage. If that wasn’t the case, we couldn’t ask you to be involved. 

The album of these times is ready to be made.
