Liz Constable
A book artist who writes.
It all started when I was introduced to a handmade book in 1999.
A light within me lit up like a lighthouse and it hasn't faded since.
I love creating books for all occasions, birthdays, just because, weddings, memories, new babies.
In 2015 I went on an epic journey and attended the Frankfurt Book Fair, as an exhibitor (one of 7,000), taking my first published book One Small Drop to showcase to the world, along with a collection of handmade books.
At the fair, I was offered a publishing contract to write a book on, making books with Austrian Publishing house Freya Verlag. A year later, DIY Notizbuchlein was published!
Then a year after that, DIY Notebooks Made Easy was published by Little Island Press in New Zealand.
I love books, and I've worked really, really hard to bring them into the world.
I have so many more to produce and create, just watch this space.
