Esther Riley
Hi my name is Esther Riley, fashion visionary, designer, sustainability advocate, weaver, mother of 2.
My background in fashion began at high school, making costumes for parties, every wearable arts competition run, I was involved with. 12 years dancing with Canterbury Ballet lent me to theatrical productions, dance, and choreography.
After high school I studied at (then CPIT) Christchurch fashion design school, developing my own aesthetic and label.
For the past 5years I have been judging Cashmere high school’s annual wearable arts competition, inspired by their up and coming designers I have sought out Christchurch’s talent and been on a mission ever since.
