The Project
Make Believe is a short drama about two kids, Lucas and Elenor, playing outside during a barbecue where fantasy meets reality. In this fantasy, they argue about what’s cooler, a Knight or a Modern Soldier. But when they look to their family who have been through more than they can comprehend, reality strikes and they question what it means to fight for one another.

We invite you to join us on this journey and help bring this vision to life! With your generous donations we will have the ability to Pay our crew and cast fairly for their hard mahi.
The Details
In this film we explore the theme of honor through a naive lens. How does the world shape our kids fantasies, views and ideas of War?
From noble medieval knight, to tactical modern soldier. The crossing of these worlds highlight a key shift in how the information age affects the child like wonder.
A challenge for our team as film makers with this being our first and last short film submission to the Day One film challenge plus working with child actors!
With our theme we hope to engage conversation around it's topics with a light hearted yet honest approach.
The Impact
The importance of imagination is the essence of creativity where reality influences fantasy. In the digital age we are influenced daily, with conflict or disaster we are fed instantaneously. Unfiltered and deeply personal. The relevance of this story is deeply connected to how we all engage with influence around us.
So give us a koha and help to dive into our imagination.
