The Steps Beyond Season

Kia ora to all the absolutely wonderful people who have supported our campaign so far! 

I’m here to pass on a message from Adeline since she is busy at work with Brian doing up the cottage!

Adeline’s little DIY project is coming along well and the cottage is starting to look great but we still need your help! To help support Adeline’s dream of restoring her mother’s cottage we need you to share the campaign with anyone and everyone! She humbly requests you send the campaign link to your friends and family that might want to support the arts to help this show return to the stage along side two other brilliant shows. 
Funding in the arts is in short supply so anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated, everything will go towards improving the quality of the work and allowing us to make these shows the best they can possibly be!
Our team is in awe of everything we have raised so far and we cannot capture our immense gratitude to those who have already so generously donated. We have a bunch of cool ideas on the horizons so please help us make that happen, every penny counts!

1860's France - Ballerinas are very poor. So poor in fact, that we are taking to crowdfunding to bring our project to life! We are so incredibly thankful to everyone who has donated so far - and to those who are supportive in other ways too. It has certainly been a shock to see the quick uptake to our fundraising, but we are certainly not done yet! In fact, we are pushing harder than ever! Funding for the Arts is especially cutthroat at the moment, and being honest, we did not receive some of the funding we applied for. To stage this work, WE NEED YOU! Any and all donations go to our running costs (and now festival application fees). After all, the show must go on... Right?

Spike Milligan's staged Goon Show has, and always will be, shoestring theatre. But, setting aside the Milligan trademarked flippancy and fun for a moment, you've helped out a lot. Now we can make it shoestring, reusing what we have, out of choice, not necessity. 

Each dollar is an extra bit of essential logistics. A single purchase to bring it all together. A buffer against the things you can't plan for in life. You've voted with your wallet, and raised up a Goon Show into the Steps Beyond Season.
 

By raising $2265 dollars, we're 151% to our goal, so we're going to give as good as we get, and give 151%. We're here to give value for money; if we weren't, we'd be running for parliament instead.
