Charles Koroneho is an independent artist working in the fields of performance and culture. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Koroneho is the director, lead creative and researcher of Te Toki Haruru. Established in 1997, Te Toki Haruru is a conceptual platform created to explore indigenous creativity, intercultural collaboration and the intersection between dance, theatre, visual arts and design. Te Toki Haruru projects are presented as performances, exhibitions, research workshops and arts collaborations exploring the collision between Maori creativity, Aotearoa New Zealand society and global cultures.
