This stretch goal will provide us availability to look into some other aspects that could enhance the development season and further onto the premiere of the work, like discussing new ideas with a costume/fashion designer, trialing new technological concepts to bring the work into the present day and to backstop funds to assist covering copyright fees for backing tracks.

Overview

Ōkāreka Dance Company is crowdfunding for the development season - Krd Strip 2.0. Funds donated will assist with a 2-week (10-day) rehearsal period, where some of Aotearoa's finest LGBTQI+ Queer artists will come together in Tāmaki Makaurau to re-imagine Ōkāreka's iconic work, KRD STRIP - A Place To Stand.
