Overview
Project Overview:
I am heading to The Surgery in Pōneke for three days with Lee Prebble (the "Doctor" behind the sounds of L.A.B, The Phoenix foundation and Trinity Roots) to record a new album.
This project is a response to life in Aotearoa right now. As a dad and a partner, I’m watching our political leaders fail the people and the land we call home. These songs come from that feeling—capturing the love we have for our families, particularily our kids, and our "beautiful home," set against the frustration of seeing it failed by those in power.
Why the November Elections?
Timing is important. The hope is this album can contribute to the conversation. I plan to have these songs available online before the November elections, providing another voice to those of us looking for more from our leadership.
How You Can Help
Boosted is an all-or-nothing platform. If I don't hit the target, your donation is returned and the project doesn't get funded. But if I do, the money will go toward:
- Studio time at The Surgery.
- The best engineering, mixing and mastering to ensure the songs sound the best they can.
